The Cow

I wish to narrate a tale of the Cow my friends. Shri  Ramana Maharshi used to give sermons at the ashrama and there was a cow from neighboring village which came and heard his sermons and then went back after the sermon was over.

One fine day the cow didnot come. Shri Ramana Maharshi ji enquired and went on to find and locate that Cow.

This Cow was ill, and Shri Ramana Maharshi ji put the Cow's head on his lap, slowly stroking her head, and her soul departed.

There is samadhi of that holi Cow in the ashrama.
