This post has been published by me as a part of the Blog-a-Ton 36; the 36th edition of the online marathon of Bloggers; where we decide and we write. To be part of the next edition, visit and start following Blog-a-Ton. The theme for the month is "and then there were none"
And then there were none", A blank eyed Cohen stared meaninglessly into the oblivion.

"Breakfast is on the table, dear, I am leaving for office", these words slammed heavily on his ears.

He hadn't thought this would have been the last words, he was hearing of her beloved.

Her demise due to brutality of scavengers of flesh had jittered him to the core.

Cohen, simple officegoer, had become a merciless sleuth. He had planted a devastating remote controlled bomb in the car of scavengers and had waited on them all to be in at one time and alas! the time had come.

Cohen, mercilessly, with blood strained eyes had pressed on the remote, sending them into flames, high up in the sky, with thundering sound.

The smoke in the sky was beginning to clear.

  5. so much has been depicted through the post . . the loss of a beloved can make a person emotionally vulnerable . . is the crime rational or not is another question . But then fiction is free to explore the darker side of life in all its rawness. . and you have portrayed it very well . . good work :)
