My mind pondered over the ballooning health issues faced by the multitudes. The entire network looked to me as if taunting me, just once……, just once come to me, just for a simple checkup.
Medicinal costs come later, first the diagnosis part. There is no analysis on how many patients die, or suffer heavily due to wrong line of treatments.
The ancient system in China, where the Doctor in each village , was entrusted with the task to look after the health of the entire village and he received fixed monthly remuneration from each house. At time of illness in any house he had to give free medication to him.
The Doctor now tried his level best that nobody gets ill. He advocated proper eating habits and exercises etc., and took personal care as this benefitted him only in terms of less consumption of medicines.

It is a sad irony that persons enjoying the limelight in the name of sacred Yoga etc. too join the band wagon to amass wealth by selling different health products etc. at exorbitant prices.
